"The Last Days of Disco Stick" Discussion Entry

Hoping to impress the elitist theater kids at NYU, Blair (Leighton Meester) sets her sights on landing a private concert with the hottest musical performer of the year, Lady Gaga. Dan (Penn Badgley) and Olivia (guest star Hilary Duff) sign up to write and star in a school play, based on an idea by Blair and directed by Vanessa (Jessica Szohr). With Blair out of the picture, Serena (Blake Lively) turns to Nate (Chace Crawford) to help her get through a difficult situation. As a favor to Chuck (Ed Westwick), Jenny (Taylor Momsen) agrees to hang out with Damien (guest star Kevin Zegers), the son of an ambassador who is staying at Chuck's hotel, but the experience proves to be a lot more intriguing than she expected.

Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star. Tony Wharmby directed the episode written by Leila Gerstein.

Spotted!

November 16th, 2009

Spotted: B hanging around the Bleecker Inn.  Um, that’s not B’s usual scene.  Hmm…J at Constance overheard talking about the lack of good guys on the UES.  I hear that, girl.  V and her film class w/ cameras shooting stuff in Washington Square Park.  Probably lame shots of trees and stuff.  Call me when you make something good, VN carrying some boxes out of an UES townhouse.  Perhaps he’s helping his cousin make the move to DC?  D and Olivia seeing “An Education.”  Cute.  Friends supporting friends.  Remember Olivia and Carrie Mulligan were in that British indie movie together two years ago?  And again, S spotted w/ her bro E.  This time they were drinking hot chocolate at Le Pain Quotidien and this time they were sans Jonathan, obviously.  Van der Woodsen kids aren’t having very good luck lately…

Title: Nessun Dorma
Author: julefontane
Pairing: House/Wilson, thats it
Rating: PG-13
Words: ~720
Disclaimer: I become a transparent eyeball; I own nothing; I see all; the currents of the Universal Being circulate through me - yeah. House belongs to David Shore, lucky guy, David, not House.
A/N: Third story, no warnings; this is just a little interlude, as you can see there is no NC-17, so it's not all the way. Patience. Fluffy ficlet sans twist. Thanks for reading.
Summary: House and Wilson go to see Puccini's Turandot. Emotionally stunted or not, the opera gets to you...(bear with me)
Excerpt: Wilson leans in, millimeters from House’s ear, brushing their cheeks together, inhaling his scent as he whispers, “Tell what? The part where ‘boys don’t cry’ or the part where boys cry out together?”
